Steps to receive your sign up bonuses

Step 1 - Chequing Account Offer:

Earn $500 when you open a new BMO Performance or Premium Plan Chequing Account and make a deposit of any amount by
November 3, 2025. Complete two of the following by December 31, 2025:
  1. Set up a recurring direct deposit of at least $500; and/or
  2. Make two eligible online bill payments of at least $50 to different billers; and/or
  3. Set up two eligible pre-authorized debits of at least $50 to different billers


Step 2 - Savings Account Offer:

A. Earn a $50 Walmart Canada eGift card when you open a Savings Amplifier Account by November 3, 2025, and deposit any amount by November 28, 2025.

B. Earn $150 when you open a Savings Amplifier Account by November 3, 2025 and complete the following:
  1. Deposit a total $10,000 or more into the Savings Amplifier Account within the first 30 calendar days of opening the Savings Amplifier Account.
  2. After the initial 30-calendar day period from the Savings Amplifier Account open date, maintain a daily closing balance of $10,000 or more at all times for an additional 90 calendar days.

    You must complete step one to qualify for step two.


Step 3 - Family Bundle Offer:

Earn an extra $50 when you invite a family member as part of a BMO Family Bundle and have them open their account by
November 3, 2025.

You must complete for step one to qualify for step three.



Eligibility criteria (open account or switching eligibility)

If you meet the eligibility criteria, the chequing and family bundle cash bonus will be credited to your account by January 30, 2026, the Walmart eGift card will be credited by February 27, 2026, and the Savings cash bonus will be credited by March 30, 2026. Unfortunately if you already have a chequing account with us you are not eligible for this promotion. If you closed your account between October 1, 2024 - November 3, 2025, you aren’t eligible for this promotion. Each bill payment is required to be paid to a different biller account number. For example, if you are paying a cell phone bill it has to be paid to different accounts numbers to be counted as 2 different bill payments.
