VALUE CONVERSIONS


Part 1: PC Optimum™ Points Value per Canadian Dollar

  • At Loblaw Companies: 10,000 Points = $ 10 CAD, therefore 1 Point = 0.001 CAD or 0.1 cents.
  • At Esso or Mobil Stations: 4,000 Points can save 10 cents per litre on up to 40 litres of fuel, which means the value per point varies with gas prices but is generally around or below 0.25 cents per point.
  • Online Purchases: The value remains consistent at 10,000 Points = $ 10 CAD, matching in-store redemptions.

Part 2: PC Optimum™ Points Value per 100 Canadian Dollars

  • At Loblaw Companies: 1,000,000 Points = $ 100 CAD
  • At Esso or Mobil Stations: For example, if gas costs $ 1.50 per litre, 4,000 Points would save $ 4 on 40 litres, making the effective value per 100 CAD in gas approximately 160,000 Points; this value fluctuates with gas prices.
  • Online Purchases: 1,000,000 Points = $ 100 CAD

Part 4: PC Optimum™ Points Earned per $ 1000 Spending by Category

  • Shoppers Drug Mart: 4,500 Points per $ 100 spent, so 45,000 Points per $ 1,000 spent.
  • Loblaw Companies: 3,000 Points per $ 100 spent, resulting in 30,000 Points per $ 1,000 spent.
  • PC Travel: 3,000 Points per $ 100 spent, so 30,000 Points per $ 1,000 spent.
  • Esso or Mobil: You earn at least 30 Points per litre of fuel, so for 1,000 litres (varying with price), you'd earn 30,000 Points or more, depending on promotions.
  • All Other Purchases: 1,000 Points per $ 100 spent, equating to 10,000 Points per $ 1,000 spent.
