Visa® Virtual Prepaid Card Details

Use the Visa Virtual Prepaid Card to shop, pay or play online, anywhere that Visa is accepted. This virtual prepaid card is for online use only. It must be registered before it can be used.

Once an order for a Visa Virtual Prepaid Card has passed our security & review process and been approved for purchase, it can be accessed via the delivery email. When accessed for the first time, it will begin the online registration process, which MUST be completed in order to use this prepaid card. Registration is required to avoid declined payments, as many online merchants perform an address verification before completing a transaction.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to regulations in the European Economic Area*** (EEA), the maximum spend in a single transaction with online merchants or websites located in the EEA is limited to $75 CAD, with the maximum spend in the EEA region over the lifetime of the card limited to $225 CAD. This Visa® Virtual Prepaid Card is issued by Equitable Bank® pursuant to a license by Visa International Incorporated.

Funds do not expire. If available funds remain on your Visa Virtual Prepaid Card after the expiry date has passed, please call the card's dedicated customer service team at 1-833-778-3580 to request a replacement card at no charge.

This Visa Virtual Prepaid Card is not reloadable and has no cash or ATM access.

Funds are not insured by the CDIC.

It cannot be used to make pre-authorized or recurring bill payments.

It is not refundable at retail locations.
